Mind-blowing Taiwanese Milk Tea 🥤 Chun Shui Tang

Chun Shui Tang is one of the original Taiwanese pearl milk tea shops that started in 1983. I liked this tea house more than Gong Cha. Both of them are from Taiwan, however, Chun Shui Tang is more pricey due to the higher quality of tea and the ingredients used. Also, all of the tea drinks are made by a certified tea master. The name of this tea house is inspired by the melting of winter snow called Chun Shui. That’s because spring water (春水）is the best water for brewing tea. Tang (堂) is the hall. It is a place to welcome and host guests. We had the watermelon milk tea, chai tea, and the parfait. They were all very tasty. One negative point is that the waiting times are crazy at this very popular location. We put our name on the list at 3:35 pm, it wasn’t a full house and everyone could see there were several tables available. We got a table of three at 4:07 pm, then we placed our order as soon as we were seated. We got our drink at 4:22 pm. We actually finished our drinks much sooner than the time it took us to wait for our table. Another difficulty with this restaurant is that you must scan a QR code with your phone to order your items. The website is difficult to navigate and it is all in Japanese. We had to ask the waitress for help several times just to find the drinks we wanted to order.

This company isn’t doing very well. Their outlets are almost always short on hands and customer service is lacking. Product however was comparable to the other stores. The service sucked however. The location wasn’t great either. Business hours are very short, products run out at the end of the day. Overall a...
