My last meal in Hokkaido this summer, on a rainy deserted Sunday night in central Sapporo - and what a great choice! The food was fantastic - from seafood (sushi with mountain wasabi and octopus grilled on a stone in front of you) to lamb to huge (but still tender and tasty) mushroom tempura. 休日のランチに海鮮丼を食べに行きました。

営業時間を見ると10時30分からやってるんですね。

今回いただいたのは ○梅•さっぽろ海鮮丼（ネタ13種） ○竹•宝石丼エビタワー（いくら入り） 海鮮丼の追加メニュー ○ソイ刺身入り〆のだし茶漬け

見た目豪華で新鮮で旨いそしてリーズナブル。

オススメの食べ方がメニューにあるので、その通りいただくのも楽しいです。

次回は自分の好きな海鮮を3種か4種選べる自分丼を食べたいです。組み合わせは10,000通り以上なので選ぶのが楽しみです。

This seafood restaurant is conveniently located near Sapporo Station—just exit from the same side as the GUCCI store on the 1st floor of Daimaru Sapporo, cross the street, and you’ll find it right away.

I visited for a seafood rice bowl (kaisen-don) lunch on the weekend.

The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m., which is good to know.

This time, I had:

Ume Sapporo Kaisen-don (13 kinds of seafood)

Take Jewel Bowl with Shrimp Tower (includes salmon roe) And as an add-on:

Soy sashimi with dashi-chazuke (broth-poured rice to finish the meal)

The presentation was gorgeous, the seafood was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.

They also have a recommended way to enjoy the dishes written on the menu, which makes the experience more fun.

Next time, I’d love to try the “Custom Bowl,” where you can choose 3 or 4 of your favorite seafood items. There are over 10,000 possible combinations—picking your own is part of the fun!

An Instagram hotspot, and unfortunately no more than that. The food quality was just okay in Hokkaido standards, but the service I received was poor. I was told that the place was full and probably should wait for 30-40 min. The server sounded like she didn’t want me there, but I still waited and was able to get in within 10 minutes or so.
