International chef run kitchen hidden with an amazing menu. We had several courses with tomatoes, then potato stuffed with konjac noodle, shitake, carrot, then veggie tempura, followed by soba.
I met the chef at one of the top sushi restaurants in Chicago where he was head chef. Since then he moved back and opened this cozy spot. The owner is quite nice!
The atmosphere is very relaxing and filled with musical instruments. Feels very "home'y".
The soup curry (coconut chicken) is very nice, and the rice is soft and delicious! There is also a built in bar (wine, beer, etc).
The only down side is that there are no multilingual menus (only japanese) so if you are a foreigner, it will be more difficult to understand the menu.
