I visited this café this week, and while the exterior looks cozy and inviting, the experience inside was completely different. From the moment you step in, you’ll notice something unusual—there are more staff than customers, and they all seem to be watching your every move. It feels less like a café and more like a surveillance zone.
One of the strangest things about this place is their rule for groups. If you’re a group of five or more, you’re not allowed to dine in—only takeout is permitted. Splitting into separate tables? Not an option. If they find out you’re together, you’ll be forced to leave or take your order to go. And trust me, they will find out. The staff are constantly monitoring and following customers, making the entire experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
I even witnessed an instance where a customer sat in an empty chair at an empty table while waiting for their coffee, only to be abruptly told to go “outside” by the cashier in a rude tone. The level of strictness and control here is almost comical—it feels more like a North Korean military camp than a cozy café.
As for the coffee? Disappointing. They have a fancy-looking coffee dripper setup, but it’s just for show. What you actually get is pre-made bottled coffee poured straight from the fridge into a glass. There’s no craft or care—just a cold, lackluster experience, much like the service.
If you still want to visit this stress-inducing café, and you’re in a group of more than four, make sure your acting skills are top-notch—because you’ll need to pretend you don’t know each other just to get a...

Read moreThe cafe has a nice atmosphere, even if the stairs up to the second floor are a bit scary. However, we were absolutely shocked by the prices - it’s the most expensive matcha I ever had in my life (including overseas but especially for Japan) for 1430yen, but the taste was like something you get from dotour but with a much smaller size. I don’t know how they can justify their prices - looking at other reviews it seems like it keeps increasing even from a few months ago. I understand that it’s a coffee specialty store, but the coffee also seems incredibly expensive and I don’t see how it’s justified to charge what they do. The atmosphere is not worth it, and you can find many similar places in other parts of Japan for a much more...
