After countless breakfasts at Komeda Coffee throughout different parts of Japan, it was time to try something different. We searched and found Musashinomori Coffee thanks to Google Map reviews.

The “Morning Service” / breakfast is similar to Komeda - a choice of toast with any beverage. We added some sausages and bacon to the toast. We also tried the pancake with fresh fruits which was fluffy and smooth.

As it was a hot morning, we ordered various frappes including the seasonal peach frappe. We found the frappes too icy - lots of chunks of ice to chew through each mouthful which was uncomfortable as it makes your mouth go numb. I’d recommend the regular iced coffees instead...

初めてこちらのお店に入りました。注文したセットメニューのパンケーキの周りに木の実らしきものがあり、自分は胡桃アレルギーだったので、周りの木の実？に胡桃が入ってないか確認をお願いしました。すると、厨房で確認するとのことで一旦パンケーキは下げられました。 その後すぐセットのサラダが来たのですが、サラダの上にも胡桃が乗っていたので、2度目で申し訳ないと思いつつ胡桃をよけてもらえないか確認したら、店員さんに『最初に言いました？』と不機嫌な感じで言われてしまいました。 普段は胡桃が乗っていそうなメニューを注文するときは事前に訊くのですが、サラダにも乗っているとは予想していませんでした。 自分は上に乗ってる胡桃をよけてもらえれば良かったんですが、店員さんに『そうなると調理中に胡桃を使っていることもあるので全ての料理が対象になりますね』『アレルギー表記は見ました？』と言われました。どこで見るのかわからなかったので訊くと、QRコードを案内してくれました。しかし見方もよくわからないのに「見たら呼んでください」と言って行こうとしたので、見方を教えてもらいました。ところがそのアレルギー表記のカテゴリにそもそも胡桃が記載されておりませんでした。 店員さんの対応をみて、私と一緒にいた友人が「私の料理と交換してあげようか？」と気を遣ってくれたほど、店員さんの態度は不機嫌そうでした。 その後、また他の店員さんがグラノーラの袋を持ってきて、パンケーキの周りにあったのはグラノーラだと説明を受けました。そのため、私は「グラノーラの内容物に胡桃が無いのであれば大丈夫です」と伝えました。それからパンケーキが再び運ばれてきたのですが、「念の為作り直しました」とのことで、パンケーキの周りには何もありませんでした。店員さんはグラノーラの内容物を確認せず、面倒だから全部排除した、というような印象です。 会計のときに、別の店員さんが「アレルギーは大丈夫でしたか？」と気遣ってくれたのがまだ良かったのですが、食事中に対応した店員さんの不機嫌な態度でほとんど食事を楽しむ...
