To be honest, I have outgrown carbs-laden food like Ramen. This is my 3rd time visiting Sapporo. I have the one of the best ever seafood ramen in Sapporo, and i have eaten at the ramen alley in Susukino.
We were visiting the Clock Tower and chanced upon Ramen Hachi, offering Sapporo Ramen. The reviews on google was pretty good. And it was lunch time. So we stopped over at Ramen Hachi.
It's well-patronised by a myriad of locals and foreigners. I took the simple miso Sapporo ramen while my brother took the ramen with additional pork. The order is via a machine (all in Japanese). Just use google Translate to figure out what's the offering.
Well, the bowl of ramen very well executed and reasonable priced. The ramen was al-dente and the soup was very hearty. I slurped up everything and I did not get the MSG-thirst thereafter. I walked like crazy thereafter to burn-off those calories!

Read moreI highly recommend planning your visit strategically to avoid the crowds. We arrived at 11:30am, and although the restaurant was already full, the staff efficiently managed the short wait. Two parties were ahead of us, but we didn't wait long to place our order using the convenient vending machine.
The staff was exceptionally professional, taking headcounts and expertly seating guests. Our food order was promptly collected, and we were seated without delay. What truly impressed us was the lightning-fast food delivery - our steaming hot miso ramen arrived in under 3 minutes!
The miso ramen was outstanding, with rich, savory flavors and perfectly cooked noodles. It's clear why this restaurant is so popular. If you're a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a delicious meal, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere, especially during peak hours, but trust us -...
Read moreSuper delicious ramen! The welcome drink includes a green juice, which makes me feel less guilty because I feel like I have consumed vegetables as well, even though I came here to eat ramen. It was so delicious that I definitely want to come back for a different flavor. What surprised me the most was that the waiter explained the menu in English, even though the restaurant did not have an English menu for foreigners. Even if you don't understand Japanese, please feel free to come here to eat. It may be difficult to enter a good ramen restaurant because the only language spoken is Japanese, but you don't have to worry about that here. I have been in Japan for a long time, but after a long time, I found a ramen restaurant that I can recommend even to those who do not understand...
