5 mins or so walk from south exit of Sapporo Station, I like this place.. chain like any but good service. Been loads of times, usually get a latte. Would like something like a flat white but my somewhat imperfect Japanese usually draws blank looks, so I don't bother. Anyway, it's got a non-smoking section and separate smoking section. The whole place has a very slight "smoking odour" which I quite like. Sometimes spend hours there looking out the window at life on the intersection. Not a massive place but big enough. Seats are all fairly hard wooden affairs.. don't expect comfy sofas or easy-chairs. But it's fine. Good place. Currently (as at 30 June, 2020) there some odd transparent screens put in the middle of small tables, apparently to prevent a bug that's going around. Overall a 5-star experience for me. It was snowing hard outside and I wanted to get some food for my family. The moment I entered, the waitress was helpful... And communicated with me in English when I responded to her in English. They meticulously took time to get the meal done properly; I ordered a pasta, hot dog and muffin.
