Visited in February 2024. I am quite disappointed with the service and hospitality, despite the Ramen taste is flavorful and authentic and they serve Halal options for moslem visitors. I don't feel the service treated us fairly enough. It took us 2,5h of line up to go into the restaurant. We are the last customer by last order, at least that's how the signage was put behind of us. We were freezing to death in the middle of 0 degrees, yet the waiter does not let us in, at least stand inside to get some warmth, just because the seats are full! And it's only us left outside, waiting for 2 empty seats available. After we got in, here's the worst part: They still let people in WITHOUT LINING UP after us... which I think it's very unfair and it much ruined the dining experience. Plus, I also don't feel comfortable with the dining atmosphere since it felt full of tension and rush. Food wise, I can say the broth is very authentic and I haven't tasted such ramen anywhere here. It's a ramen filled with a mix of sourness, savoury, yet spice which I really like. In the end, I'd say skip this place if you see lineups are all over the front, but maybe consider if the place is not so crowded. 😅

There are always long lines in front this place. Now, I understand why. The place is there since 1957, and of course the owners are specialist to cook ramen, if not the place didn’t exist anymore. The owners and cookers are charismatic too much and they are kind of folkloric persons. The staff (little girl) is very kind. The place is very small. If you want to have a real ramen experience, seat on the counter then you can watch the magic of cooking ramen. One advertisement, if you are people that can’t see any dirty and eat, stay away this place. Hygiene is not the positive point of the place. It doesn’t matter, the ramen was the best in the world. I ate all including the soup. I want to go again. I tried the lamb ramen. It was my first time. Now I believe that this place is one of the best place in the world to eat ramen. and I tried many ramen in Japan, I live in Tokyo since 2015. Try! I really recommend!

Wish to give 10 stars for this restaurant as its the best ever restaurant that we have ever been We had super delicious food, affordable price + best ever customer service (forgot to ask the staff name) Thanks for this staff who helped us (eventhough we didnt have enough cash as this is the last night for us in sapporo)...Nevertheless she never let us go back, she make sure we get food (even she top up money for us + give us complimentary dumpling) Nowadays, its very difficult to see this much of hardworking staff and the best past is that she always keep smiling to all customer (despite with her busiest situation) The amount of diligence and the respect that she gives to all customer is highly unimaginable May GOD always bless her We definitely wish to visit this restaurant again in future (for muslims this is the BEST restaurant in sapporo)

Small humble Muslim-friendly restaurant. Muslim menu available, though selection is quite limited. Tried all their Muslim friendly options during my stay in Sapporo & always left the restaurant with a full tummy & a smile on my face. The best thing about this restaurant is that the customer service is excellent. The only downside is that waiting time for a table might take a while (may take up to an hour during peak timing). Be prepared to embrace the cold while waiting for a table if you are planning to visit during winter. The long wait/queue is mostly due to their limited seating capacity. There are only 3 tables (seats 4 person each) & a long table adjacent to the kitchen (seats 5 individually). Hence, the wait.

Oh boy, I was queing up for 2 hours outside in the -7 temperature till my nose bleed. The size of the restaurant is small, typical Japanese restaurant size. If you are coming in a large group, be prepared to wait outside for long time. You will also might not be able to dine in together with the rest of your group as the limited number of seating and they will let you in by batches. The waiting time for the foods to be prepared is decent, large portion. It is definitely the place that you come, eat and waste no time to leave. As the customers waiting outside stares at you as in the movie scene Train to Busan lmao. I’m not an avid ramen eater but the ramen was not bad at all. I took the menu ¥1227 (lamb).
