ATMOSPHERE: Located on the top floor of JR Station Stellar Place, it’s a sizable space with a good personal “bubble” compared to many restaurants in this country.

FOOD: Charbroiled Local Chicken What I saw on the menu picture: A hearty dinner-sized plate of marinated and charbroiled chicken. What I got: The same dinner plate pictured though with half the amount of chicken that looked like it was boiled. Flavor matched the poultry’s paleness. I asked the server if they could do a chicken donburi and the answer was “no”.

Black Pork Donburi Set The spouse’s wise choice. Rice topped with a luscious combination of thin pork, egg and onions bathed in the signature sauce of sweet and savory. To the side was a salad and miso soup. At least someone had a good lunch.

SERVICE: They had the shortest line of all the restaurants. When you’re ready to order, press the buzzer on the table. Summoning staff was quick.

The food here was amazing quality! We had the steak and the shabu-shabu one after the other — the server was kind enough to recommend it when we couldn’t decide. The katsudon here is incredibly too, it’s cooked beautifully and with a lot of care. Couldn’t get a photo of it, it was eaten so fast! But a very good restaurant, popular with locals, but they also have English on the menu if you need it. It’s so popular that their steamed set was sold out when we got there, but everything we had was great regardless! They specialize in black...

The restaurant is a notch more formal (setting wise of interiors) as compared to the other restaurants at 6F of Stellar Place. Fortunately, we were seated at an area where we are seated on tatami mats. We had to remove our shoes prior to being seated.

Their lunch menu is a bit more expensive due to its brand and location. At the time of our visit, lunch menu is still available to us. We ordered rice bowl, sashimi, and pork cutlet. For us, the top score goes to the sashimi set good for 2-3 pax.
