Amazing whisky bar in the middle of Sendai. There are a lot of unique special whisky to choose from and for a decent price. The bar also has a good selection of rums. The owner is a great guy and really knows a lot about whisky. He speaks good English, so it's really easy to get a conversation going. I think it's one of the best bar experiences I've had in Japan. Definitely recommend visiting when in Sendai.

There is a one of the best Authentic Bar at Sendai. This Master who named mr. Honma, he knows much about scotch whisky and he has traveled Scotland couple times. So you can ask him about japanese and scotch whisky in " slowly english" I think this is the best way to good communication with japanese bar master. He is nice guy and very gentleman. Please talk slowly and please order each of person not for " same" time lol I really recommend this bar. There are many scotch whisky also bottlers whisky too. If you love whisky then come here. yeah maybe after NIKKA Distillery tour is good or after eaten 牛タンOx tongue is better too. ２０１９年追記 国分町のビル５階にあるオーセンティックバー。マスターの本間さんが一人で営業しております。ボトラーズも含め、スコッチウィスキーの種類がかなり豊富です。 軽いフードもあります。 マスターは何度かスコットランドにも研修に行ってますし、聞いたら何でも教えてくださります。 地元のお客様が多いですね。最近は海外からのお客様も！ 週末限定のチーズタルト、チーズケーキもオススメです。 ウイスキーが本気で好きなら来るべきお店です。

Visiting this bar was one of the best experiences I had during my time visiting Japan. I wanted to buy my father a bottle of Japanese whiskey for Father's Day, so I came to Bar MILLESIMES so that I could try some. The owner of the bar welcomed me and showed me a wide variety of Japanese whiskeys to pick from. He even offered me whiskey to take back to my father as a gift.

The owner is very kind. He speaks good english, and is very knowledgable of whiskey; so, if you want to relax, try Japanese whiskey, and maybe even practice your Japanese, this bar is the...

I never leave bar reviews but this places deserves one. I found this bar by pure luck just walking around.

The owner and the customers were very welcoming and we chatted for hours while trying assorted whiskeys.

Had a wonderful time , so much so I went out of my way to go back 1 week...
