Kappou Tempura Santaro — Restaurant in Sendai

Went there twice - first time for Sukiyaki, second time for the Tempura chef table.

I would rate Sukiyaki a 4.5, food tasted amazing, came with everything you would expect for a good sukiyaki place. High quality beef with that expected melt in the mouth feel. Service was very good.

The tempura chef table course was somewhat a let down compared to the sukiyaki. It is a good standard tempura course with no extra flair that you would expect from a chef table arrangement. (We have experienced more interesting tempura meal from a la carte menu in other restaurant) We would rate the tempura course...

Great tempura and great people. I came without a reservation and the staff still served me politely. The tempura they served were delicious, the fish and shrimps are very fresh and tastes very good. Yes they are expensive but it definitely worth it. The staff members are very polite and helpful. Despite they are not proficient in English, they tried their best to let me know how to enjoy the tempura properly and I really appreciate their attitude, especially the chef with glasses that cooked my food, thanks for the meal...

もうこの先二度と行きません。 お米も昨日炊いた？ようなものでしたし、値段ほど美味しくない。 コースと一品料理も頼んでるのに、追加でフグ刺しすすめてくるし。 最大の理由は‥ 子供が大歓迎だと予約時に言っていたのにも関わらず、子供ができる限り騒がないように努力をしている中、若女将が来て、お子様の声のボリュームを抑えていだだけませんか？ と言ってきたこと。

予約時に、うるさいんですけど大丈夫ですか？と伝えていたのに、だったら予約時に断ればいい。 入り口の個室でどんちゃん騒ぎをしてる方々いました。 でも、近くに行かなければ、うるさいな！とはわからなかった。 その部屋だったらそこまで響かなかったはず。 案内された個室は、やたらと声が響く部屋でした。 そして、注意をしながら過ごしてましたし、言われるほど騒いではいませんでした。

予約のきっかけは、2ヶ月程前に、マンションにチラシが入っていたことでした。 日頃子育てに追われ疲れていたし、きちんと食事が取れて無く疲労で倒れたばかりだったので、いつも何かと手伝ってくれているジジババも招待して行こう！となり、予約の電話をしました。 昔は、主人も私も出逢う前からよく利用してました。 うるさい子供連れは断られるかもなぁ‥と思ったので、きちんと伝えて確認しよう、個室でお願いしよう、と 連絡したのです。

１歳半と3歳半の子供がいてうるさいので個室がよくて、そもそも、子供は大丈夫ですか？？？と。

お子様連れも多くいらっしゃってますので大丈夫です。歓迎してます。 個室のご用意は、コースメニューからのご予約になりますが‥ と言われ 元々コースで検討していたので、それは大丈夫です！ と伝えて、メニューも3度問い合わせて決めて1ヶ月以上前から予約をさせていただきました。
