A chic, modern cafe that's located not too far away from the Katahira campus of Tohoku University. Really great sandwiches. They also have open-faced sandwiches, which I don't think I've seen anywhere else in Japan. If you're looking for a fancy place for a brunch date, I think this place will suit you just fine. As a foreigner from Portland, OR, this restaurant in Sendai gave me a taste of home. The drinks are amazing, the donuts are not only absurdly cute, but also delicious, and the food is perfectly portioned! My go-to order is the keromen donut and the jerk chicken burrito.
