Cherry-blossom viewing square — Attraction in Sendai

I went on the first Sunday in April with the cherry blossoms nearly at full bloom. The park was rich in whites and shades of pink. There was a real sense that spring had arrived at was here to prepare us for the warmer months ahead. I went both during the day and later in the evening. The food and drink stalls catered for the swathes of people that were there as couples, families, friends and coworkers. The atmosphere promotes the happiness that can be found in life. It was really uplifting to walk around the venue to find so many people enjoying themselves whilst respecting others around them. Luckily the day was dry and not too hot or warm.
