I eat here almost every day, and I would give 6 stars if I could. Thematic (some days the star ingredient is tofu, other days meat, vegetables etc.) and creative home cooking with delicious and healthy food, prepared with the utmost care. Rice in Japan is always good, but here it's great, Miyagi-grown Hitomebore variety :) Owners are very friendly, I love going there. Oh, and did I mention the tableware? Impeccable...

This is a very cute little bistro. The food was very good and so was the presentation. Love how the rice was placed in a wooden bento box.. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even gave each of us a very beautiful handmade sachet as a keepsake. Definitely want to come back again if we ever pass...
