Great local bar open till late, no menu, you pop in and ask Marshall my friend and the super kind bar attendant/owner to this very cozy nigh-time atmospheric bar. One of the best places to make additional memories to your experience here in Japan. 5 minutes from the JR station (after Takayama city hall). The bar has a variety of whiskeys Japanese and non, rums, few beers, few snacks, many cocktail ingredients and also brewed by him from local fruits and all around Japan for the best quality! Cocktails might vary from season to season, but some of them you can taste also all year long! If you are coming in groups there space max for six people at the counter but Marshall has also a room on side, where you can seat taking your shoes off of course! In Takayama many restaurants and bars close too early so Marshal is the perfect choice for many reasons! From time to time his business hours might vary here on google. I just came out from matsuya-san place and this is the most you can get from japan, personally i never been into a bar that makes me wanna came back the moment i step foot out of it, the ambiance, the music(electronic tango) that matsuya-san put on, it just click with his personality the vibe that the bar has to offer and let’s not forget about the drinks that matsuya make quality over anything and i’m not talking about expensive shit here, it just pure touch of his hand making every bit of experience here worth to try. i hope matsuya-san will still kicking and laidback as usual and ill be returning to cinq by matsuya in the...
