Hotel Wing Takayama Location was our criteria for selecting this hotel.

Rooms are surely not big, no big mistake here. If you have big luggage, good luck to you.

Modem and decor is nice and up to date.

Free drinks e.g juices and coke in the dining area.

Service was average, they were busy when we were there. But what we experienced was sufficient.

Parking is 1000JPY per day, but parking lots are very limited. Runs out pretty fast if you check-in too late. Driving holiday is good, but comes with all these problems as well in Japan...

Bed is not too bad for 2 persons. Comfy enough. Bathroom was reasonable and well equipped.

Bicycles were lent out for free to guests. But again, first come first serve. It was useful to have a bike to wander around instead of walking (which was too slow and tiring) or a car (which was too quick to see anything.)

Price wise, reasonable. There was the onsen hot bath for guests to use. Nice place, well decorated and quite modern. We used it every day. But, a little too small. Can get pretty crowded down there, and then it really defeats the purpose when so many people are in there. We enjoyed the onsen very much.

Nice hotel, we would stay here again...

Pros: Excellent staff, especially Ms Shibuya is very helpful. Cons: The manners of the residents (I mean the tourist) are very low. The cleaning. The cups in room are not cleaned after previous uses.

I have lost my earphone in the previous hotel, staff in Wing helped to call back. Front desk staff Ms Shibuya helped me the communicate with the previous hotel and arrange the delivery to Wing. A big thanks to her and the team.

The residents there mostly from Taiwan and southeastern Asia. Most of them do not have any manners especially in the Onsen bath. They didnt dried themselves before leaving the bathroom, making the change area into a reservoir. They also talked extremely loud and made a lot of noise during the bath.

I am not being a racist on anyone, I am also an Asian, but please do consider on the people you are staying with other than just the price. Don’t let them ruin your holidays.

New hotel! Interior is so clean, no scuff marks. Feels brand new! They also have free DHC toiletries 😍 this includes facial oil, toner, shavers, shaving cream. Quite luxurious! Hotel is located in convenient area, walking distance to most attractions and train station. There is also lots of car parking. Hotel room is very comfortable and on the 4th floor, we were lucky enough to get a view of the Japanese Alps. There is even an onsen that we didnt check out... too also includes hot water boiler & fridge!!

I really enjoy how they have free lounge space during hours of 15:00-23:00. Here you can enjoy complimentary drinks (oolong tea, water, calpico, orange juice & more) or get some work done on computer. Or if your like us, trying to save some money... we would eat our bentos down here! Overall lovely stay at this hotel.
