I have been going to Lupi32 for many years, as it is one of the best restaurants in Asagaya and in my opinion, one of the best places in Tokyo for pizza. When I saw they had changed their concept to a course meal I decided to try it for my partner's birthday. I was a little anxious at first because the course is a bit pricey and I didn't know at all what to expect from it. We ended up loving the experience! The food was truly delicious, flavorful, with some great combination and using a lot of fresh and luxurious ingredients. Every single dish was wonderful. While the portion may look small at first, by the end of the dinner we were full and very satisfied. It simply was perfect. I must say I was also very impressed with the staff whom I recognized from before but now works completely alone. He skillfully cooked, plated, and served every one in the restaurant with a great timing and professional, calm & friendly manner. Truly impressive! Wow! By far the best pizza I've eaten in Tokyo, and a surprisingly good/thoughtful wine list. We started with prosciutto (freshly sliced), then had a red pizza with anchovies, capers, etc. and a white pizza with particularly good homemade sausage, 菜の花, and cheese.
