世田谷クミン — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is one of my absolute favorite cafes! Always try to go for birthdays or other special occasions, but am also happy to go by myself or with a friend on ordinary days. The deli items are all fantastic! You can taste all the love and thought that went into making each individual item. I only with they offered cooking classes so I could try and make something similar at home! The big salad lunch is also wonderful with delicious homemade dressing. And the spice ice cream is out of the world! Especially the Azuki flavored...

I used to come here for lunch or dinner by myself since I lived nearby. There was always a welcoming atmosphere here with the owner’s friendly personality and local familiar customers! All the dishes were delicious and sophisticated, using super fresh and sometimes unique vegetables with a hint of exotic spices. I was single back then, and it was my favorite hang out. Now that I’m married and have 2 little kids, I can’t wait to go back to the newly located restaurant this summer while we visit Japan...

とても評価も良く、行きたくて行きたくて、やっと念願かなって伺えました。

住宅街など真ん中！ 特に目印がある訳でもなく、Google先生が頼り！ 普通の民家〜的な作り。 自転車はお庭に停めて〜おばあちゃん家みたいな感じ。

中に入ると本当に昔の民家をリノベーションした作りでとても居心地が良さそう。

メニュー色々あったけど（少し分かりづらい、凄く集中して読まないと…☝️） 野菜とチキンのカレエ、キーマカレエ、スープカレエから一品を選ぶカレエランチに。 これにデリが付いてくるらしい…

程なくデリが出てくる。 色々なお野菜がスパイスと組み合わされて一捻りもニ捻りもされているデリは食べていてとても面白い。

デリを食べ終わる頃に野菜とチキンのカレエも登場！ 綺麗に盛り付けられたカレエにテンション上がる〜✨ 一口食べてみる。 うっ、、、熱くない💧 一緒に来た友達は「元々冷めてるカレーが冷たくならないようにと、ものの3分で掻き込んだ！」とご立腹💢

カレーって、濃度があるから、、、鍋に付かないように弱火〜で火にかけるから熱くないのかな？と思ったけど、もう1人の友達が注文したスープカレーも熱くない。

まあ、私も何回かインドへ行ったけど、インドは手で食べるから、日本ほどカレーも熱くないけど、、、 もしや、それ？？？

せっかく丁寧に炒めたであろう玉葱の甘さが引き立つカレーではあったので、余計に残念。 やっぱりやっぱり、個人的にはカレーは熱い方が好きだな… あとは、もう少し量があってもな…と、これまた大食いの私の感想。
