I would go lower with my review but google won’t let me. My experience with the restaurant stopped at the door when the worker there told me that they couldn’t serve us since they had no food. We had made a reservation a week and half early and came to the restaurant with our confirmation yet the restaurant denied us food, service and a good explanation. They first said that we needed a reservation, next they said that we had to make a reservation at least 2 months ahead since they only had enough food for people who reserved a table.

How does that make sense? Why allow me to reserve a table and deny me saying that the reservation is invalid because it wasn’t 2 months ahead.

We stumbled over this gem by accident and it couldn't have been better. Great food, recommendations from the chef that perfectly fit our likings, lovely sake... We were able to sit right in front of the tiny open kitchen and got a good look at the two chef's amazing workings. Everything is beautifully set up so it felt cozy and warm. The chef was up for a chat and we had very interesting talks. Overall I'd say for me this was one of the loveliest eating experiences in Tokio and I definitely recommend...
