Service is awful here. As long as you stop ordering the staff will try to literally kick you out. It’s the worst experience I had not only in Japan but in my whole life. And they try to kick you not once you’re done eating or drinking, no. They start to get aggressive from the moment they understand that you’re not going to order anymore and will pressure you to finish eating and drinking as fast as possible talking to you in a really rude way such as « please go home now » « stop drinking you only have ice left » « I don’t care if you’re waiting for your friend in the toilet just take his belongings and go out » etc….( in Japanese). I wonder if she talked to me like this because I’m a foreigner but that was really rude and I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. Our visit to 四季煲坊 started off like any other meal, but by the end, it turned into an experience that left a bitter taste—not because of the food, but because of their pricing practices.
At first, everything seemed normal. We ordered from the menu handed to us and were ready to settle the bill. However, towards the end of our meal, we noticed something strange—other diners had different menus. Upon requesting to see the standard menu, we discovered a troubling practice: Locals were given a menu with lower prices that included tax, while we received a pricier version, with an additional 10% tax on top.
To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, we realized we had been overcharged beyond even the inflated pricing. When questioned, the staff seemed dismissive, making the entire experience feel even more exploitative.
If you’re considering dining here, be sure to check the menu carefully or, better yet, take your business elsewhere.
