RUDE SERVICE, BAD SATFF

Find another place to eat if you don't want to deal with bad attitude super rude old staff that working here! I went there at 20.00 with my two hungry kids, other restaurants were full at the time. Me and my husban been traveling in japan for more than 20 times already so we are very familiar with ordering food by the machine. BUT!! THIS PLCAE THE MACHINE WAS SUPER CONFUSE!! THE STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL! the old staff waa right there the whole time but did not help so I asked him nicely just to help me pay for my order since the machine didn't work. He gave me a bad look and wave his hand just to tell me to go away!!! No wonder why he is still working in the poor restaurant at his final period of his life....

This is a very challenging place for tourists as you order through a machine that is completely in Japanese. There is no English option and there is no option to customize the dishes unless you are able to tell the chef. We were just about to leave as there was no one around to help us order until a very kind customer saw us confused and came to help us. He helped us order and waited until we got our food and made sure we sat down. The service at the restaurant is not catered towards tourists. There is limited seating as well so sometimes you'll have to wait to get a seat. Getting multiple seats together is also challenging. It is conveniently located outside the Shimbashi station and gets busy during lunch time. Food was okay and there aren't many...

It was fun to order from the vending machine and to experience what locals typically eat, but the food was incredibly sub par. The soba noodles didn’t taste fresh, the shrimp tempura was super soggy, and a lot of the self serve containers were empty so I had to walk around the restaurant searching for the seasonings I wanted. Overall the food was quite flavorless (we got a mountain yam rice bowl, chicken and egg rice bowl, cold soba, shrimp tempura, and hot soba). Mountain yam is typically flavorless, but the rest of the items we ordered aren’t. We ended up having to add tons of spice to make everything edible.
