We came early so our party of 4 were the only ones in the restaurant at the time so our experience was not due to them being busy.
Our waitress was not friendly and when we asked if we could have some more time to think and look at the menu just stood next to us waiting we were definitely rushed.
Eventually we just ordered the first item on the top of the menu because we were rushing (we also don't read Japanese so typically it requires some google translate). This was a mistake we found out later as it turned out the one we ordered was a massive expensive oyster the size of cereal bowl not just a typical oyster. Instead of warning us that this was a huge expensive the oyster since we were clearly tourists they were very insistent we buy an additional one.
To be fair there was absolutely nothing wrong with the oysters they tasted fine, just big expensive and not what we expected.
After we got the surprise on the size and bill they rushed us out and poured our drinks from glasses into paper cups and ushered us to leave.

Also I came to this shopping area specifically since it was designed for tourists. So I assumed shops there would accept tourist. There was definitely some unfortunate miscommunication due to language, but I think overall it did seem like they were trying to take advantage or they didn't...
Read moreThe best oysters we ever tried. Served fresh, eaten raw or grilled. Recommended to eat raw. Staff are very friendly and can speak English. There is an English menu available that's easy to understand. Price seems to be changing frequently as the price list has a date. It's a small restaurant with standing oyster bar setting. They serve oysters from different parts of Japan. The giant size oyster is for display only. Oysters meat are around 3 inch to 5 inch big depends on the oyster type. This shop also won awards for...
Read moreThis oyster restaurant is located at 千客萬來,which is a new local attractions in toyosu fish market. Tried two raw oyster sets, and it was really delicious! The oysters are freshly opened before they serve, so it may take some time to serve after you ordered. I especially like the non-rock oysters, which has stronger taste. They even got after-taste which was definitely a surprice to me. Price is not cheap though, but in terms of the taste and freshness I...
