I stayed here during December 19th-22nd 2023. I was given the best customer service I have ever seen. As a tourist I wanted to jump on the tradition of getting KFC for Christmas however I had booked another hotel in Ginza during that time and had to preorder online from a Ginza KFC store. Unfortunately KFC Japan doesn’t allow you to use international credit cards as they only accept Japanese recognised banks/cards. I figured the only way I could pre-order online was if I bought a prepaid credit card.
Asuka Suzuki (front desk captain) helped me greatly with this by the following: Emailing KFC to confirm a prepaid card was a viable option to buy KFC Assisting me in purchasing the prepaid credit card from the Lawson machines connected to their building. Assisting in registering the card as you needed a Japanese number which I didn’t have Filling in the registration form for the card as it was in Japanese and difficult for me
I wanted to express my gratitude for her as she went above and beyond her duties :’) this is exceptional service that you sometimes won’t even see in 5 star hotels.
And of course the rooms were nice, clean and spacious with great view of the river. The bathroom was big with good water pressure. But above all, the customer service was...
Read moreThis is a relatively new hotel opened in 2019 with well functional facilities and helpful staff. The advantages here include spacious rooms, which are less common in Tokyo, a convenient store right on its 1st floor and good views from the room. There are ice machines available in the corridors. The staff are willing to answer any question. They also borrowed me a weighing machine to measure my luggage weight. The restaurant are well-lit and spacious. the breakfast is with wide variety and delicious. There are some slight shortcomings, too. The hotel is doubtless a little far away from the downtown area, separated by the river and somewhat troublesome to reach by public transportation. You need to pay attention to take specific buses or the Yurikamome metro line, an independent line from big Tokyo metro system with limited stations. The other shortcoming is that the room window might not be as big as pictures advertised on the website, but it would probably improve if you pay more for higher class room type. Overall it was a pleasant accommodation...
Read moreThis hotel is fantastic If you are visiting the wholesale fish market. It is less convenient if your plan is to visit other parts of Tokyo. Since the train line does not connect you to other stations. There is a bus available right next to the hotel that takes you into ginza however it is crowded dueing the times that I took it.
I wish this hotel had laundry facility or coin operated machines. Since it is not a residential area, there aren't any laundry facilities nearby.
There are many tour groups staying in this hotel so do expect the breakfast to be crowded at certain times. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating even though it was very crowded. Is the breakfast was decent and the local dishes were better than the western dishes.
The Toyosu station is a tad far for walking especially when it's cold outside. However, it is a straight line from the hotel. The lalaport shopping center was great with lots of restaurant options. I wish I had more time to...
