I went around 11:45am on a Monday and it wasn’t very busy at all—it became busier around 12:15.)

I ordered the number 3 “Choice Curry’s Set” with the chicken curry and since I enjoy spicy food I got a spicy level of 4. I didn’t find the 4 to be as spicy as I liked so I asked for it to be made spicier and the waiter brought me a small dish of the chili paste to make the curry as spicy as I’d like which I really appreciated since I used almost all the paste he had given me. (Next time I’ll probably start at the 5.) Another plus is that the food came remarkably fast!

The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I was expecting more food for the price of 900¥ ( I am comparing this to the other Indian curry restaurants I’ve been to in Japan). The food was delicious—I am crazy for Indian curry—But I was expecting a little bit more curry for that price. Although, that being said, I would go again if I am in the area.

The waiter spoke Japanese of course (which is what I used) but he seemed comfortable with using English as well since that’s what he greeted me in.

As for atmosphere, it has more of a bar vibe inside than a typical lunch place. So if you’re looking for a bright and open restaurant, this probably won’t be the one for you. However I enjoyed the vibe, the wait staff and the...
