I went to this restaurant in the evening. There were a few Chinese people and apparently no Japanese ( if you dare to categorize them by their ethnicity, which certainly makes no sense, as I show you the far more complexity below) , which I found as a good sign for a good Chinese restaurant. We ordered Lanzhou beef noodle soup, which derives from Lanzhou, west northern part of China. In addition to beef and homemade noodles, spicy oil, cilantro leaves and sliced Chinese radishes are also soaked in the clear beef broth. It somehow tastes rather like Thai food or Vietnamese food than Chinese food which I’ve been already family with, but this cuisine is actually for Muslim (that’s why they don’t use pork to make this noodle).
