The OneFive Tokyo Kameido — Hotel in Tokyo

They claim to have a 24-hour front desk, but it's very hard to find anyone during the night. The staff is usually hiding in the back room. Also, some employees are not trustworthy.

Here’s what happened to us: The day before, I informed the staff that I would be checking out around 3 AM and asked if they could call a taxi. A lady and a man said, “Of course, we can arrange it through an app.”

However, during checkout, two different staff members arrived from outside. Their eyes were bloodshot, and they acted like they had never seen me before. One of them was the same person I had spoken to about the taxi and from whom I borrowed a luggage scale earlier.

It was around 3:30 AM, and they had just come in from outside. What were they doing out on the street at that hour? Very strange. On top of that, they denied knowing anything about the taxi arrangement and said, “We can’t call a taxi.”

We were forced to walk to the station with six suitcases.

Not much value for money. Room is relatively clean, cleaning must be scheduled in advance. They do towel change and trash out but nothing more. View from our room is the wall of a neighbor building. There’s a single microwave at the lobby, you can take hygiene kits there too. No basic tea/coffee setup nor water. There’s a single telephone per floor but not much use coz you still need to fetch items yourself at the front desk if you need them. They only provide 1 pillow per guest and you need to go downstairs to request more if you want. Staff needs more training or maybe because there’s only one person at the desk most of the time. Checkout is easy tho, fast and no lines which is pretty good. No luggage storage service but coin lockers are available. Just pray that they’re not all occupied by the time you need them. Overall, there must be better options for their price range...

Check-in time is at 3 PM, and unfortunately, there is no free luggage storage at this hotel. You'll need to pay between 500-1000 yen for locker storage in the hotel lobby, depending on the size of the locker you need. Check-out time is around 12 PM, so you'll need to manage your luggage accordingly. I had to pay twice for the locker service (once when I checked in and again when I checked out), while other hotels offer this service for free. If you're looking to save on your budget, it's better to choose a hotel with free luggage storage. The rooms are nice but a bit old and humid. When I put sign please clean the room, they only changed the towel not make up your bed at all and I was staying there for 5 days.The bathroom is spacious and quite pleasant.
