Had a real good lunch at the Spanish paella place right next door about two years ago. Was back in the neighborhood and thought to try the partner Asian restaurant right next door. The menu looked very good and the lunch menu offered courses with enough variety to satisfy any person that would want to try many dishes. A little bit of everything is offered with the set lunches. The food was not as anticipated. It wasn’t horrible. It was fair. Nothing stood out and tasted like anything you could get at an Asian supermarket. In fact, all the sauces were displayed and lined up at the entrance of the restaurant and sauces direct from the bottle was prevalent with everything. What really bothered me was that the person who seemed to be the head chef kept snacking on the shrimp chips that they had a large plastic container of at the finish plate line. He was not tasting what he cooked. He was eating, with his bare hand, without washing them. Bringing his hands to his mouth over and over, within view of all the customers in the dining room from the open kitchen. Why doesn’t he just smoke a cigarette while cooking, I thought. Second, some of the waitstaff do not know how to carry multiple plates. If they cannot carry up to three plates for one trip, then they should use serving trays. If they carried more that two plates, then they leaned the dishes against their bodies as they brought food to the customers’ tables. The meal is a good deal, but they should close off the kitchen from the dining room and the waitstaff that know what they are doing should share their knowledge and teach those less experienced. Service was just fair with room for improvement. If they could work together or seem to enjoy each other’s company. That would improve the service. I would return if someone invited me, but I would offer options before agreeing to go.

We were very satisfied with this place—it was fantastic! The staff gave us such a warm welcome when we entered the restaurant and even suggested some seasonal dishes and other menu items. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the Kai Yang 🍗 highly recommend this dish. There’s also a wide variety of drinks and Asian food to choose from ✨ You can easily place your order using a tablet, and the food came out pretty quickly, which was great. The atmosphere was amazing, with plenty of space and relaxing background music 🎶 that really set the mood. We definitely look forward to visiting again and again! Thank you for the wonderful meal and the excellent service from the staff! ❤️

Good food and overall a great experience, but the service was simply amazing. The wait staff were friendly and helpful but also went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect! The location, while a little out of the way, is close to Kachidoki station and has a great view.
