Chill Cafe Tokyo — Restaurant in Tokyo

Not sure what happened.... The place was lovely and so was the staff here that day (i believe the owner?). Came here on a Sunday, but no syrups available so no vanilla or hazelnut latte. Coffee was good but our order was forgotten when a big wave of customers arrived. Food wise, we ordered eggs Benedict and Avocado toast. It was nothing like other reviewers' pictures. Instead of the muffin, it came on a simple toast. No fries or no salad with it, for the expensive price of 1300. Same thing for the avocado toast. Everything was tasty but not filling so I left feeling hungry. Didn't see any cake/scone on display either. I'd love to come back but not feeling like taking the chance of whether I'll be coming on a good day or not. One day you might get the full tasty menu, the other day you might get a sad toast instead. Still confused about this whole experience because I really wanted to love...

Quiet and relaxing cafe tucked away in a residential area. This is a great place to enjoy some coffee and food. We didn't get to enjoy their sweets, but considering how they were all sold out it must be delicious!

The staff speak both English and Japanese. They're very kind and we got a chance to speak to them a bit, very friendly people.

we really wanted to come here for brunch and upon arriving there was a notice in the window about holidays. i guess they deserve it, but in a big city maybe put your hours accurately on google maps? we just wasted an hour to get here.

based on the owners very friendly offer to open, I feel like extra stars are warranted - we had already left, but this is above what I ever experienced or expected...
