yes the food is great, BUT THE WAIT WAS TERRIBLE. It's hard to say the wait was worth it when the wait took AN HOUR. The long wait for the food should have been either indicated in the menu or the staff should have said sorry can you wait an hour? I swear i could have drilled my head in the wall. Second, i asked if we could order soup first and can we order later and they were warning us that the place fills up early and they'll cook other orders before us. That's fine but i just needed literally 2 mins to order the main courses. Why pressure me to order everything in one go? And the paying for things look so amazingly long. We took 10 mins to pay for everything. The waitress couldnt handle the register and the cook had to come over and do it for her. For a restaurant in japan, they still have a paper and pen style of taking things down, and the register seemed like it was from the 90's--which i wouldn't really care about if it were not the reason for taking an exordinant amount of time. Last thing, We arrived at 6 (which is when they open) and after 8 people got in, they ran out of garlic rice.
All in all, if you want to eat from here, better get...
Read moreHad the chance to visit today at 5:05pm (Google Maps says open at 5pm). Lady in the shop said they weren’t open yet then closed the door. After talking to her later on the phone, she said the restaurant is only open from 5pm for people with bookings and 6pm for walk-in customers. Posting this for other customer’s info. Disappointing lack of information. Cannot comment on the food although I have suggested this place to other friends and they’ve visited and...
It was dream come true that I wanted to taste Philippine food again ! I’ve been studying in the Philippines and now missed foods and finally found it that I can say it is the best restaurant in Japan. I tried sisig and sinigang soup were very tasty ! Sisig is the meat dish so if you like the meat I recommend you it’s softer than i tasted in the Philippines. Sinigang is a lil sour soup with lot of veges that warm you up and the taste familiar with Japanese food. Like soul food. I asked them to eat special exotic food and say they provide it for such people who need it sometimes. Very kind, I would try other...
