I found this place shortly after arriving in Tokyo for the first time in 2016, and I have gone there many times over the past 8 years when I'm in the area. I've tried some other ramen shops, and even though they've all been pretty good, this place is the best. Labeled a soba shop, it is actually abura soba, which means the noodles are made from wheat (like ramen) instead of buckwheat, so it's a brothless experience that can still satisfy ramen cravings.
You can order with or without pork, and you're served some of the tastiest noodles with some dried seaweed and bamboo shoots. All the toppings (that you ordered extra) come on the side, which you mix in yourself along with some chili oil and vinegar. Read moreThe noodles offered by the shop are incredibly delicious. I really enjoyed the unique seasonings the shop provides, whether its chili or garlic slices – they make the noodles taste even more special and delicious. Additionally, I highly recommend their limited-edition almond tofu; it's truly a delightful treat! During my family trip to Tokyo in early August, we almost went to Aburasobabanninriki every night to have noodles and almond tofu. While eating at Aburasobabanninriki, I noticed some French people praising the noodles as very special and delicious. Now I start to miss the noodles. In the future, I'll even fly to Tokyo just to have the noodles at...
