Brunch and Design at Blue Bottle Coffee x Marimekko, Daikanyama
We stumbled upon this beautiful Blue Bottle Coffee outlet in Daikanyama while wandering around the neighbourhood and were instantly drawn in by its serene outdoor setting. With a laid-back patio fitted out in beach chairs, umbrellas, and clean Nordic touches, this café felt like a secret escape in the middle of Tokyo.
This particular location is a collaboration between Blue Bottle and Marimekko, and it shows. The interior design and branding are tastefully done, reflecting the effortless harmony between Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian charm. It’s rare to find a place that blends coffee culture with such attention to design aesthetics.
We stayed for a relaxed brunch and soaked in the morning city vibes. The coffee was excellent, just as you’d expect from Blue Bottle, and the pastries were fresh and satisfying. What we appreciated most was the unhurried pace. Even though Tokyo can feel fast-moving, this café gave us a moment to slow down and simply enjoy being there.
If you’re in Daikanyama, this spot is definitely worth seeking out. It’s not just a café; it’s an experience in design, calm, and quality coffee. A perfect little...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this store. I accidentally left my bag in the store, and when I realized it, I was told that it had already been taken. The lack of responsibility and basic security measures from the staff is unacceptable. I would not recommend this store to anyone until they take steps to improve their handling of lost property and ensure proper procedures are in place to prevent...

I’ve visited Blue Bottle locations in several countries, and this was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Definitely not...
