Pâtisserie Traiteur Chez Lui Daikanyama Store
Established since 1973, Pâtisserie Traiteur Chez Lui Daikanyama is a well know address of Daikanayama and Shibuya residents.
It offers a wide range of wheat flour bread, viennoiseries, gelée aux fruits (fruit jelly), cookies and succulent French style cakes. Look at the seasonal items which can be fantastic.
You can also grab a sandwich (320~370 yens) and a drink for lunch.
I have a slight preference for the Espace at 460 yens (clocolate mousse cake and earl grey), as well for the Montblanc Marron (chesnut and cream) at 420 yens, and the Savarin at 400 yens (rhum, cream and custard cream). Tarte Citron at 470 yens (lemon pie), Cassis Dijon at 430 yens, Tartelette Poireat at 420 yens are my other preferred one among a selection of 15 other cakes.
A “Restaurant Chez Lui” with a nice terrace is just across the road, specializing in roasted chicken, and serving alcohol. Chez Lui delivers within a close range area, and order can combine products from Patisserie Traiteur and From Restaurant Chez Lui.
The Pâtisserie Traiteur Chez Lui enjoys some nine sister stores within...

The music doesn’t suit the name of the place nor the atmosphere; it’s some reggaeton and top 40. The staff are nice but the atmosphere is...
