On our visit, we tried two dishes: the loco moco and the Hainan chicken rice. While the food took a little longer than expected to arrive, it was well worth the wait. The flavors were rich, with each dish carefully prepared. The Hainan chicken rice, in particular, stood out to me. The ginger sauce was absolutely delightful, adding a burst of freshness and warmth to the tender chicken. If you're a fan of ginger, this dish is a must-try.

The loco moco, a Hawaiian classic, was hearty and satisfying, but the Hainan chicken rice truly stole the show for me.

Ordered the locomoco to see what was up if it was the same taste back home in Hawaii , price was meh. The portion can be bigger or simpler since the order took frekn to long came in with a table of 3 people one ordered haianese chicken or however you spell it came pretty fast because its simple pretty much steam chicken.

Locomoco took forever to come by the time it came , the person who ordered the chicken finished. Bruh come on now make your dish simple or prepare the meat in batches atleast. The portion was enough for a Japanese women to eat not the food fighter type but standard type.

Advice if your gonna make your customers wait should give some kinda extra service or on the house appetizers.

Note: don’t order the meat it takes to long even though the staff said so like literally take forever like...

I questioned this place would be as tasty as reviews suggested since their menu is sort of all over the place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I initially tried to order the eggs benedict but they were out, so I settled on the bibimbap, my sister had the coconut shrimp curry, both were pretty tasty. We also ordered the wings, while small, they actually did the sauce correctly which is rare in Japan (usually it is just a little off). The atmosphere is also light and airy, and a great place to have brunch.
