Chinese Ramen Yoshu-Shonin Ikegami — Restaurant in Tokyo

This may look like your typical local neoghborhood Chinese restaurant, but it’s actually a chain that has shops all over Tokyo and Kanagawa. They serve various kinds of noodle dishes where you can choose the thickness and firmness of your noodles. A lot of people order the 担々麺 but I find it not rich enough and a bit too soupy for my liking. I prefer the スーラー油めん much better and recommend it, as it’s not commonly found in other places. Despite being relatively small, the interior is actually quite gorgeous, mikicking a very authentic Chinese vibe with the carvings and hanging ornaments, down to the BGM which plays Chinese music. Service is also very good, and staff are very attentive, serving desserts only after they’ve seen you finish your meal.

This restaurant chain actually has its own app which if you join newly, you can get a coupon you can exchange for either a 6-piece gyoza or the 杏仁豆腐. If it weren’t for this coupon, I wouldn’t have realized how good the 杏仁豆腐 here is; highly recommended as well! Next time, I would like to try their Pu’er Pudding, which sounds unique and delicious. などでおのおのドリンクと舌鼓。

ピータン… 凡庸でしたが、ビールのアテと しては塩味も程よし。 海老たま… ふわｯｯｯふわ秀逸。 みんなしてShareが、一瞬で喉越し。 焼きそば… モッチモチの四角い太麺にこれまた 高粘度の濃いめのソースがよく絡む。 美味しい焼きそばでした。 加水高めな柳麺と塩ベースの ワンタン麺をShare。 個人的には絡みソースとの相性が◎。
