If you’re looking for a Showa-era style cafe with lots of personality, this is your spot. It’s got a great vibe and feels like you’re going back in time. There’s a cool bar and quite a few tables to choose for your seating. I went with the blend coffee, which is die siphon style. It was a bit stronger than a pour over, but that’s what I like about this kind of cafe. I also got the cinnamon toast, and the bread was so tasty…thick slices with crunchy outside and soft middle. It was the perfect companion to the coffee. You can smoke inside, so make sure you know that before going. Service was good.

An “old-school” Tokyo coffee shop that would appear to have changed very little since it opened in 1973. This is the the ultimate anti-Starbucks - no designer coffees, no lattes - just freshly prepared coffees from around the world.
