Coffee Wrights Kuramae — Restaurant in Tokyo

I got two coffees for take away at Coffee Wrights in Kuramae/Taito City. It was a really good experience! The staff were super friendly, bilingual, and knowledgeable about their products. It’s clear that Coffee Wrights has a passion for the coffee business, and they also do some roasting at this location.

I ordered a cold brew with Honduras beans and a cappuccino with their Brazil beans. Both were very tasty, with standout notes and flavors that made each cup unique. However, the cold brew was so rich in flavor it was amazing. I don’t know what it is about Honduras cold brews but the last few I’ve had have been truly remarkable.

In case you’re wondering, this store does have a second floor with seating. I think this is one of the better roasters/cafes in the area, so I definitely recommend...

Coffee Wrights Kuramae would have to be one of my top three coffee shops in Tokyo — having a spot like that as a neighbourhood coffee shop back home would be the dream.

Lovely! Special shout-outs for their consideration of cappuccino enthusiasts who care about milk foam and want to have a simple spoon to inspect the delicacy of one at hands! Such tool is not a given in Tokyo as far as I have experienced.
