Arisugawanomiya Memorial Park. A quiet town in the southeast near Aoyama. Close to Hiro-o station and in the middle of the city center, it is a forested and well-managed park. It is not an ornamental park, but a very utilizable park by the residents around it. When I visited, the managers scraped the floor soil of the entrance pond and cleaned the water. Read moreReally incredible multi-level park. There is a large gravel recreation area, several smaller alcoves with children's playground equipment, as well as the normal Japanese amount of relatively clean restrooms. Read moreLovely but hilly with lots of stairs so park your bike or buggy at the lower entrance. Not barrier free (wheelchair accessible) for the upper park. Nice there is water and locals fishing but lots of bird poop on the ground and public toilet is not super clean. Still the park is nice and shared with locals young and old. Local nursury kids play at the upper park throwing balls and running around, adults bring their children, people walk their dogs and I saw an old man playing and singing on a guitar or something. He was quite good so pleasant to listen to. Super close to Hiroo station and 100 yen bus stops...
