I absolutely love this restaurant I wish I can take it back to the US with me. Chef/owner Richie created this restaurant that feels modern and fancy with very approachable prices. The lunch sets are only ¥1000-¥1500 and it comes with soup, bread, and an entree. Richie worked at the Grand Hyatt and even lived in Spain and Italy before opening this restaurant 4 years ago so you know his food is authentic and well done.

We ordered the seafood pasta and the wagyu steak were both great. We even got extra bread to soak up the super flavorful sauces from our entree. I would give both dishes a 5/5, the seafood pasta you can tell he cooked the sauce as you ordered it and it was light and flavorful. The wagyu steak was my favorite though as it was super tender and the demi-glace sauce it came with had an explosive flavor, it came with salad and fluffy wild rice which complimented the steak perfectly.

Chef Richie gave us spectacular service even though he was running the restaurant all by himself and he even taught me how he made the soup and the demi-glacé sauce. If I lived in Azabu Juban I would come to this restaurant 1-2 times a week. I will definitely come back the next time...

Last night’s dinner at DiDi Grande Steakhouse in Tokyo was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. The decor seamlessly blends elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Richard, the owner, was a phenomenal host. His passion for hospitality and genuine care for his guests were evident throughout the night. He took the time to share stories about the restaurant's concept and its commitment to quality.

Now, onto the food each dish was a masterpiece. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, showcasing the rich flavors and tenderness that only top quality meat can provide. The sides complemented the main courses beautifully, especially the truffle mashed potatoes, which were simply divine.

The service was impeccable; our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and our needs were met promptly.

Overall, DiDi Grande Steakhouse is a gem in Tokyo’s dining scene. If you’re looking for a place where exceptional food meets outstanding hospitality, this is it. I can’t...

DiDi Grande exceeded all expectations! The ambience strikes the perfect balance between modern and cultured, with a stylish interior and a great playlist that really elevated the dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at home.

The service was impeccable, and our server checked in at just the right times, kept us informed about each course, and even shared some background on the dishes we ordered. The food was outstanding: incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. Every bite showed true attention to quality and detail.

To top it off, the chef personally came out to greet us and held a warm, genuine conversation that made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality and connection in such a refined setting.

I’ll definitely be returning to DiDi Grande on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a welcoming...

Didi Grande was recommended by a friend of mine who lived in Japan for years. We're both from the United States and care greatly about supporting BoB; especially in a place like Tokyo, Japan. I arrived before opening time and waited patiently for service to begin. When the restaurant opened, the employee set up quickly and the owner showed up shortly after to begin cooking. Two other groups of people also came. This place seems pretty popular. The food was very tasty and did not take long to come. I ordered two dishes as a way to measure the quality of the preparation and presentation. Both passed with flying colors. The venue, vibes and atmosphere were very comfortable. The choice to play American country music was interesting to me, but as I understand it, American country music is popular in Japan. All in all here is my final score Service: 10/10 Food: 9/10 Venue: 10/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Total: 37/40 Very good! 👍🏾☑️
