Came in here for dinner with my family and this place underwent our expectations. It may have been due to how busy it was when we came but we sat there waiting for over 20 minutes only for our order to get messed up/forgotten.
The waitress there is unbelievably rude and was serving with an attitude and it appeared she wasn't doing her job that the head chef was forced to step out and see if we were ok. He apologized to us and said he'd make our order right away.
If you are to come here, skip it if the tables are packed. Food was so-so but the chef was kind. I wish I could say the same about the waitress...

We’d eat dinner, go clubbing, stay out until morning, and always end up at Kamukura. It was the final stop.
The Kamukura in Oshiage was almost empty— I got a spacious table with no wait.
The sound of the kitchen echoed softly in the distance. A few Japanese customers sat quietly. Later, a small group of foreign tourists joined in. There was a quiet atmosphere, free of borders or expectations.
With one bite of ramen, the memories gently returned. Not mind-blowingly good, but definitely delicious— a warm, familiar taste that brought my mind and body a little closer to where they used to be.
Right in the heart of a tourist hub, time seemed to pause. A quiet...
Read moreKamukura was definitely a highlight of my recent trip to Japan. There aren't many branches of Kamukura in Tokyo, so I had to go out of my way to try this place again after 7 years!
The Ramen was just as good as I remember! Gyoza was also excellent. The line to get in was pretty long but definitely worth the wait. If you find yourself at Skytree, I definitely recommend stopping by Kamukura especially on a...
