While enjoying my visit to the Tokyo Skytree, I was pleasantly surprised by an unexpected discovery. As I was taking in the breathtaking views from one of the tallest towers in the world, the time for prayer arrived. I began to wonder if I would be able to find a suitable place to pray, as it's not always easy to find dedicated spaces for prayer in large public attractions. However, to my delight, I found a well-established prayer room within the facility, specifically designed for Muslim visitors.
The prayer room was not just a simple space but thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for prayer, including a small but functional ablution area for performing wudu (ritual purification). The room was clean, quiet, and provided a peaceful environment for worship. It was heartwarming to see such attention to detail in catering to the needs of Muslim visitors, making the experience at Tokyo Skytree even more inclusive and welcoming.
I felt a deep sense of gratitude and happiness for this discovery, as it allowed me to fulfill my religious obligations without any inconvenience. This level of accommodation reflects a high level of cultural sensitivity and awareness by the Tokyo Skytree management, and I sincerely thank them for this thoughtful provision. It made my visit to this iconic landmark not only memorable but also spiritually fulfilling.
Read moreAround Asakusa this was the only place I could find for the prayer space. I'm grateful for the availability. One suggestion to every Muslims, prepare with a bottle of water for ablution, bcs there it's only provided in a big jar/jug of water. When I went there even a lady has to come bcs the water ran out at Women prayer space. Wished they considered properly, like the prayer space at Azabudai Hills and at Narita airport, which the ablution infrastructure is installed with...
Read moreI found this place right after i went down from the skytree, on the 5th floor. I actually wasn't expecting there'll be a prayer space, but it's actually a nice surprise! It has 2 sections for men and women. Each section has it's own prayer mats and wudhu area. They also provided us sandals, trash bin and tissues to dry the wudhu area after we used it. Thank you so much for providing us a safe, clean and cozy...
