We had an amazing Cheeseburger for lunch !

You don't have a lot of different burger recipes, only Cheeseburger and Lamb I think. But it is the famous secret to always have fresh product and good quality. If you are a burger connaisseur, you will be able to make your own burger by ordering some additional toppings.

You will also be able to enjoy few varieties of beer such as IPA (which is pretty rare in Japan).

To end our meal, we had a brownie and it was fantastic. The place is small and cosy. And the staff is really good and professionnal.

Talking about money : it was the best value for money I had so far in Japan for a burger :). I highly recommend this...

The chef at this casual and super cozy little 3 table+bar-seating restaurant gets American food better than a good number of actual Americans. He's Japanese but went to culinary school in California and it shows. Not only are his dished delicious, they're authentic as well. The best burger and the best pulled pork sandwich I've had in 6 years in Japan and I'm from Memphis, so trust me when I say I know good pulled pork when taste it. Super reasonably priced, great atmosphere, much warmer than usual Japanese staff, cannot recommend this place enough. The main guy speaks English as well, although he isn't there 100% of the time, so don't...

I live nearby and I used to go there very often. But recently, they refused me entry to the restaurant because… I don’t drink alcohol !?!

I told them I was fine with ordering alcohol and paying for it even if I didn’t drink it, because I really like their food, but they refused and said that « I have to drink it » !? (We were three people, and I was the only one who doesn’t drink alcohol, so my two friends would have ordered alcohol.)

I don’t understand… I’m not even sure if that was the real reason why they refused to serve us. Anyway, I’m really sad that I can’t go...

Every person in and around Koenji knows about El Pato, and for good reason. This place has consistently incredible food and friendly service. The beet salad and the grilled chicken with truffle sauce are personal favourites, although everything on the menu is worth trying. This place is absolutely incredible, both in terms of price and quality. If you're ever in Koenji, this should absolutely be a place you visit.
