Would like to thank a particular wait-staff (didn’t get her name but she was a cheerful 18 years old university student) for making our last evening in Tokyo (4 May) at EDW Ebisu a memorable one, despite us coming in 1.5h before closing. We were a little hesitant because of some negative google reviews but she proved it otherwise, especially to a foreigner like myself. She was exceptionally friendly and approachable, and tried her very best to communicate English with us. She also struck up a conversation after seeing me taking pictures with my camera and told us she likes taking pictures with her digital camera as well.
We will definitely come back for the delicious pancakes when we’re are back in Tokyo maybe next...

If it's full, wait in queue outside till the server comes and gets you.
After being seated, the server will ask if you've been here before and also give you the menu. If you answer no, they will give you a rundown of the menu. If you answered yes, they'll thank you for coming back and leave the menu into your hands to look through.
Once you're ready to order, just call for a server if you're at the counter or hit the bell if you're at a table.
The pancakes are to die for. We didn't try much of the rest of the menu, but the pancakes are fantastic!
