Loved this quaint place! So much vegetarian-friendly options and just let them know and they will make sure you’re well-taken care of. Little things like making miso soup without dashi will be taken care of.
Note that they do not speak much English so be prepared with your translation app. However, everyone is super friendly and welcoming, very very approachable and accommodating despite the language barrier.
We ordered their mushroom risotto - which was packed with a variety of mushrooms and tastes heavenly!
Their mapo tofu was yummy too with a fragrant sesame taste to it. Unlike the Chinese versions, this is not spicy at all.
The mushroom hotpot is a minimum order for 2pax. I’ve never seen this variety of mushrooms in one place ever! They took their time preparing the soup and it was well worth it! Especially after cooking all the mushrooms in it, the soup became heavenly divine. We also ordered a bowl of rice to add to the remaining soup and cooked it into a form of porridge - so good!
Very happy to have found this...

I tried a few dishes and wines, everything tasted good!
The mushrooms and ginger hotpot was big enough for two starving people. Plenty of mushrooms and cabbage. The taste was very simple, natural. I really like it!
The deep fried soy meat was terrific!!! Inside it was not dry at all, it was juicy and well seasoned. Crispy on the outside. Not that healthy but extremely yummy!!!
I love mushrooms, so after that huge hotpot I decided to go for the grilled ones. They were served with tororo, grated nagaimo... I loved the combination! Great texture and flavours.
The mixed vegetables roast was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was served with something like 12 different types of salt. Of course I tried all of them! Very interesting.
Five stars...
Read morePretty meh to be honest. Very overpriced for the food quality. I had the soy meat karaage lunch set. The initial salad was fine but very small and just a few leaves on a plate. The set itself had a very strange type of sticky brown rice, and the veggie karaage was very chewy and rather bland. The dessert was alright, but essentially over-refrigerated chocolate truffle and a vanilla tofu. The bathroom also had a very strange and pungent salt smell, and the sink was filled with some sort of decorative ice. There are plenty of other vegetarian options in the area or in Shibuya, I would not recommend this one unless they improve. Overall, it seemed that they were experimenting, which is good, but I wish they would experiment and perfect the recipe before putting it...
