ずっと行きたかったピザ屋さん開拓シリーズ I finally got to try a pizzeria I’d been wanting to visit for ages!

お店の前は何回か通ったことあって いつか行きたいと思っていて 偶然当日にTablecheckで空いていて当日に奇跡的に 予約しました
どうやらキャンセルが出たとのことでラッキー✌️
・マルゲリータ 2,300円 ・マリナーラ 1,900円 ・チーズ盛り合わせ 960円 ・彩り野菜と生ハムのミックスサラダ 2,000円 ・ブラッドオレンジジュース 689円 ・和紅茶 700円 ・パンナコッタ 700円 ・アフォガード 850円
事前にピッツァ博士に前菜からドルチェまで楽しんでーと 言われていたのでしっかり楽しみました
まず、チーズの盛り合わせ 3種類のチーズそれぞれこだわりのもので美味しくて さらに驚いたのが添えられている蜂蜜が 高知生まれで大好きな文旦のエキスが入っていて その味も感じられておいしかったです
サラダはピザ屋さんで提供されるレベルじゃない 美しくてこだわりたっぷりの野菜が入っていて 1つ1つに感動していました
ピザはカスタマイズのピザも気になりましたが 初めてのお店だったのでマルゲリータとマリナーラを 注文
マルゲリータは具沢山で生地の端がカリカリでおいしかったです マリナーラは焼き加減を聞いてくださり カリカリが好きなので焼いてください!ってお願いしたら 焼き加減が好みのピザをいただけて大興奮でした 私的な推しポイントとしては 焼く前にバジルと焼いたあとにバジルを乗せていて 香ばしく感じられてのと 具がこれでもかとのっていて満足感が高かったです
ドルチェで頼んだパンナコッタは 他のパンナコッタとはどこか違く中のパンナコッタと ベリーソースどちらも美味しくてペロリでした
アフォガードはコーヒーが4種類ほどブレンドされていて バニラアイス自体バニラビーンズが入っていて 最高に美味しくてそちらに濃いエスプレッソをかけて 贅沢にいただきました
全体的に価格は少し高いかな?と行く前は思っていましたが 食材や焼き方、すみからすみまでお店の方のこだわりが 詰まっていて大満足なディナーでした
お店の方との会話も楽しくて 途中からピザ好きなのなぜかバレて?ましたが 面白かったです
個人的にはティラミスをラインナップにぜひ加えて欲しいです (届くかな?)
A pizza connoisseur friend of mine had told me to enjoy everything from appetizers to dessert, so I made sure to do just that!
We started with the cheese platter —a selection of three carefully chosen cheeses, each with their own unique character, and to my delight, it came with honey from Kochi infused with my favorite citrus, buntan You could really taste the zest, and it was delicious
The salad was a showstopper —not the kind of thing you’d expect at a pizza place It was full of beautifully presented, thoughtfully sourced vegetables Each bite was a little revelation
For pizzas, I was tempted by their customizable options but decided to stick with the classics on my first visit and ordered the Margherita and Marinara
The Margherita was loaded with toppings and had a wonderfully crisp crust around the edges For the Marinara, they even asked about my preferred level of doneness, so I asked for extra crisp, and it came out just the way I like it What really stood out to me was that they put basil on the pizza both before and after baking, giving it a really fragrant and toasty aroma Plus, they were generous with the toppings —very satisfying
For dessert, the panna cotta was unlike any I’ve had before Both the panna cotta itself and the berry sauce were so good I polished it off in no time
The affogato was incredible —the coffee was a blend of about four different types, and the vanilla bean ice cream was truly rich Pouring that dark, strong espresso over the top felt totally luxurious
At first I thought the prices were a bit steep, but after seeing the quality of the ingredients, the care taken with the baking, and all the attention to detail from the staff, I was thoroughly satisfied with my dinner
The staff were great to chat with, too At some point, they somehow figured out I’m a huge pizza lover —which was pretty funny!
Personally, I’d love to see tiramisu added to their dessert...

Even the salads were possibly the best salads we have had in our lives. But beyond that, all the people at Fakalò are exceptionally kind. We had a really special experience both times we visited here. The owner has created something truly exceptional, with flavors that you cannot experience anywhere else.
