Simply charming.

We had the delight of being able to sit at the bar for our meal, to watch the chef at work.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and positively excitable that we could speak Japanese with them - but English was okay too.

The sashimi was perfectly fresh, and came as a lovely assortment. The tempura was whisked freshly in front of us, and was crisp and delicious as it came out.

The meals we chose came as sets, but I also ordered the braised pork and egg as I am a right sucker for kakune. It was fatty and tender and a perfectly rich note to end on.

Fully recommend coming here early to get to sit at the bar to watch the master at work, if you can. Umeboshi (pickled plum) highball was also...

I stumbled upon this fugu restaurant by chance, and I'm so glad I did! I opted for the tempura sashimi course set along with the kohoku chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. Each dish was a delightful experience, showcasing the chef's skill and passion for quality ingredients.

They serve authentic and delicious food. The udon was my favorite. We dined there twice in our week vacation in Tokyo. We really love the food there. The staff was very kind too.
