I really like this place, especially their tarts. However, it’s extremely frustrating that on some days, certain tarts sell out very early in the morning. They open at 10, but sometimes, if you arrive at 11, the tart you came for is already sold out for the entire day. This often happens with their seasonal tarts.

Why not prepare better for the demand? Or at the very least, notify customers on social media if there are only a few slices available?

I understand why they do this—they assume that since you’ve already made the effort to come, even if the tart you wanted is sold out, you’ll still buy something and then visit again. But honestly, this approach is just frustrating and leads to a poor...

The desserts are great, but what impressed me the most were the sandwiches. They are an explosion of flavors! We had the ones with chicken and the other one with bacon. Every bite has a different, delicious taste because they use a large variety of ingredients. Additionally, the girls working there are lovely! 10/10 for both the food and the service!

今回はサンドイッチとコーヒーを注文。おしゃれ系カフェのサンドイッチはボリュームが少なめというイメージを持っていましたが、ここは違いました。想像以上に大きく、具材もたっぷり詰まっていて満足度が高かったです。特にサーモンが新鮮で美味しく、食べ応えもありました。パンはやや固めで噛みごたえがありますが、それもまたバランスが取れている印象です。

I visited Hachi Café Asagaya slightly earlier than lunchtime on a day off. The café was already quite busy, and I was lucky to get one of the last available tables, which shows how popular this place is.

I ordered a sandwich and coffee. Often, sandwiches at trendy cafés tend to be on the smaller side, but here it was the opposite. The sandwich was surprisingly large with plenty of filling, making it very satisfying. The salmon was especially tasty and fresh. The bread was on the firmer side, which added a nice chewiness and balance to the sandwich overall.
