Amazing food, and the staff were amazing beyond belief. I'd by far never had such good customer service. The waitress made lots of recommendations, even showing us pictures on her phone, when she saw us taking a while to decide what to get. She was patient when we'd sometimes struggle a bit to find the words we were looking for in japanese, and very friendly. We kept thanking her for how amazing the food was and the chef himself came out and brought us an amazing tofu dish he'd made free of charge, asked where we were all from, and brought us to the door and thanked us again when we were leaving. The food itself was so good, we had the assorted sashimi plate, satsuma, horse sashimi, tottori daisen chicken meatball with egg yolk, grilled hon shishamo, kakuni (the best dish we had there), karage and more. Genuinely one of the best if not the best dining experience I've ever had. Highly recommend! I don't often drink sake so can't compare it to others, but I thought their sake was good! The cups, bowls and plates were beautiful and really added to the experience, each felt unique and some seemed hand-made, and you could really feel the quality of the food ingredients and the love put into their preparation by the chef. What a hidden gem in Ebisu! We were accepted without reservations and when we asked for an omakase dinner the chef eagerly delivered a culinary journey of simply prepared but complex flavored dishes. Small but well thought out customer service touches, like picking your own unique sake glass, showed the care the owners have for their customers.
