The ice cream shop entrance was interesting, but I think it was clear on my face that I was there to try the ice cream and not have a haircut 😅 I love that there are savory ice creams, more people should be adventurous and try them out. They are delightful and open a whole new world of taste and sensation! I tried the vichyssoise (potato, bacon and blue cheese) ice cream and the amanatsu and black pepper ice cream. The winner was the potato, bacon and blue cheese ice cream. Savory, sweet, creamy and not overly fatty. I usually don't like bacon, but in ice cream, it was fantastic! Service was really attentive, polite and although it was a bit difficult for the (owner?) to communicate with me, he was so enthusiastic and tried very hard which I really, really appreciated. I'll very sure to bring my friends with their appetites to try out these (n)ice-creams!!!

We passed by the area with the plan to try John’s Ice Cream. We found there’s a long line already and it was a very hot-hot day! But we decided to get in a queue anyway. Shortly after the server came out to pass the menu for us. We asked her if we can get them for a take out and placed our order through her right away. Like about 15 minutes later (but felt like forever due to the heat) our scoops came out. They look beautiful and delicious. We love John’s Ice Cream!

1 of the most interesting ice-cream shop I’ve ever been.
