GOOD SOUND COFFEE — Restaurant in Tokyo

I come here to work regularly, 2x a week or so. The coffee isn't the best I've had, but always consistent quality and very reasonable prices (and discounted on the second one). My go-to is a flat white, and usually the staff member there is able to make it for me. Sometimes it's just trainees who haven't heard of it which is unfortunate but at the same time it's not on the menu so can't complain. There is fast WiFi, and plug sockets on many seats. Music is a little loud but my noise cancelling headphones seem to do the trick.

Interior is really nice, and there seems to be a co-working space of some sort on the second floor, but no information on how to use it.

Located a few minutes walk from Nakameguro station, Good Sound Coffee is a great example of making efficient and creative use of a limited space. It is designed in a way that enables the side windows to be opened up on sunny days and allow guests to enjoy the fresh air as if sitting on a terrace. 😌

With trains from both the Hibiya subway line and the Toyoko line passing directly overhead, the noise is quite considerable. However, with 60 speakers designed specially to envelop you in a 360 degree aural experience, the jazz/bossa nova with occasional birdsong ensure that any sound from the train tracks is kept to a discreet minimum. 🔊

Coffee is extremely reasonable and there is a range of sweets to choose from including muffins, scones, apple pie, French toast, mini tarts and cheesecake. 🧁

Made using cream & cheese from Hokkaido, the cheesecakes are gluten free, and have a smooth, rich texture. This berry version had a hint of sourness, and paired nicely with black coffee. ☕️

With a sleek wooden interior, a wide variety of different seats, as well as free Wifi and a number of electrical sockets, this cafe is popular with nomad workers, couples, students working on their homework and business people having meetings. 👨🏻‍💼

Open from 8am through to 11pm, it also serves as a casual bar, where you can enjoy alcohol and coffee-flavoured cocktails. 🍸

If you are in the Nakameguro area and looking for a cool cafe to spend an hour or two, it's worth checking out! ☕️

店内は奥行が深く、カフェとしては割と広い印象を受けました🫖

カウンターも大きくて商品たちがものすごく丁寧にまるで飾られているかのよう👏

照明の光は穏やかで優しくて夜との対比が神秘的だった🌙

そんな素敵カフェで出逢ったものが"ピタヤボウル"なるものです☝️

◎グランデピタヤボウル (1,600円)

ピタヤボウルとは、赤色のドラゴンフルーツをシャーベット状にして。

その上にバナナやベリー、グラノーラをトッピングしたものです。

甘さがものすごく爽やかで、この派手な色味から女性の間で流行っているのだそう🙋‍♀️

本場ハワイでは朝食の定番のピタヤボウルを、goodsoundcoffeeでアレンジして提供されます😋

実はアサイーボウルよりも美容効果が高いと言われてるんだって😳⤴⤴
