Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. This used to be my favorite place for chicken ramen, but the quality and service have deteriorated significantly, and I won’t be coming back.
The noodles were undercooked (a bit al dente and too short), the chicken on top was cold and tough to bite, and to make things worse, the dumplings never arrived with the ramen. When we asked about them, it became clear there was a major lack of preparation — the person serving us seemed confused, was distracted on her phone with one hand, and preparing food with the other. It honestly looked like she was watching a video to learn how to make the dumplings.
After a long wait, she eventually brought the dumplings (after we had already finished the ramen) — but they were completely overcooked. On top of that, she initially gave us a bowl with just hot water and lettuce, which she later realized was a mistake and removed.
It’s really disappointing to see how much this place has gone downhill. Sadly, what once was a top ramen spot for me is now somewhere I...
Read moreYou go in you can hear jazz music being played (not sure if its always jazz all the time). Go in and you will find ticket machine on the left and you can pay there. I had their number 1 shio ramen and a glass bottle coke (150¥). For foreigners, there is no english menu, unfortunately. They will ask if you want rice for free. The female staff wasnt smiling or genki, but that is okay. The atmosphere is pretty good at lunch. They had their AC broken (and was written on the door before you enter) a few weeks ago, but now the AC is functioning and the temperature is right. The ramen itself is chicken based, thick broth style (kotteri), pretty creamy. They give you lemon to squeeze in. On the bottom of the bowl, there were some pieces of orange/yuzu peel, make sure to mix it well before you eat it. The restaurant is counter style with high chairs but the chair is pretty wide and relaxing, so is the space to yourself. You wont feel cramped or claustrophobic which is a big plus for a...

Personally I think a good shio ramen (salt) is hard to come by that has enough flavor and umph. I've had plenty and none breach my top 5, but this does it. Extra toppings are worth it as well, the savory broth with fresh chicken, lettuce, and a lemon you should juice once you've gotten a handle on the broth.
There was 0 wait when I went, and it's pretty easy to tell what the specialty is from the ticket machine. Only a few minutes walk from the train is a plus....
